Biographie

Richard Dutu is a Professor of Economics at the University of Paris Dauphine. A former student of the Ecole Normale Supérieure (Paris-Saclay), he graduated with a PhD in Economics from the University of Paris in 2004. Richard worked for several years (2004-2012) as an academic in Australia and New Zealand before moving to Mongolia as a consultant for the World Bank. He later worked as an economist at the OECD before joining Dauphine in 2016.

Richard’s primary research interests are in macroeconomics and monetary economics, including crypto-currencies. Over the years Richard also built an expertise in development and the macroeconomics of developing countries. Richard teaches macroeconomics and money classes both at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
