Job Openings in 2024: 1 Professor position with tenure in Economics, University Paris Dauphine – PSL, Paris, France
The Department of Economics at the Université Paris –Dauphine-PSL (LEDa) invites applications for one position at the level of Full Professor.
Applications are invited in all fields of economics. Candidates whose research lies in one of the areas of specialty of the department may have an advantage. Applicants must have held a Ph.D. or doctorate degree in economics for at least five years and have a well-established record of research and publications. The quality of the application will notably be assessed by its publications in leading field or generalist journals.
The successful candidate should be committed to a state-of-the-art research program and will be expected to teach at the graduate and undergraduate levels 128 hours per year, to supervise doctoral students and to provide senior leadership in the department. Mastering conversational French is an asset. Teaching can be proposed in French or in English, yet the recruited person is expected to be able to teach in French, at least for a part of the teaching load, four years after hiring.
The position will start on September 1st, 2024 or on a mutually agreed date. The annual gross salary will be €37,500 – € 66,000, depending on experience and qualification.
The position is open to candidates both inside and outside the French university system. Researchers (“Chargés de recherche”) in a French public institution must hold the "Qualification" at the time of hire. The position is permanent.

Please submit, a letter of application, a resume mentioning at least three referees and three representative research papers. Shortlisted candidates will be asked to have their referees submit three recommendation letters.
The deadline for application is December 21, 2023. Decisions for interviews will be released to applicants by January 10, 2024. Selected candidates will be invited for a recruitment seminar from 22 January to End March 2024. The seminar talk will be followed by bilateral meetings with interested members of the department. Seminar will take place on site. Yet, on-line sessions can be organized for foreign candidates upon demand. A final decision will be taken in April 2024.
